The
Glasgow Sculpture Studios MFA Graduate Fellowship is awarded annually to an
artist from the MFA who demonstrates artistic excellence, a commitment to
maintaining a studio based arts practice and to a contemporary sculptural
practice.
Running
for one year from November 2012 to November 2013, the
award includes membership to Glasgow Sculpture Studios, access to production
facilities and professional artist’s opportunities, private studio
accommodation and support to realise a solo presentation of new work towards
the end of the Fellowship. Previous Graduate Fellows have included; Laura
Aldridge, Risa Tsunegi, Jonathan Scott, Sarah Forrest and Alex Impey.
This years Fellowship is generously supported once again by
The Gordon Foundation.
