An opportunity to hear the artist talk
about his current exhibition in Tramway 5, OPAL-LOGO PALM.
The event will also feature an
informal Q and A with Niall MacDonald and Tramway's curator.
Born in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland
in 1980, Niall MacDonald’s work uses mould making and casting as a way
to sample and reconfigure objects and surfaces. For his exhibition at
Tramway, he has created a series of delicate, seductive assemblages
using worldly fragments, through a painstaking process of moulding in
silicone and casting the forms in pure white plaster.
